Why is it not possible to interact with the macro preview in page edit mode?

Question

In Confluence Cloud, if I edit a page with a SharePoint Connector macro on it (List or Document, doesn't matter), I can see a preview of the macro. Why is it not possible to interact with this preview (i.e. click on a link or a button)?

Answer

Atlassian introduced so-called "Live Macros" for Confluence Cloud. They are not meant to be interactive.
