Use status macro for single select values
How can I indicate different project status with the Confluence status macro when I'm saving project status with Metadata?
Solution
Currently there is no way to color-code single select fields, e.g. using the status macro, with Metadata for Confluence.
However, we have already received this request and are tracking its progress over here: https://jira.communardo.de/browse/METADATA-528
Workaround 1
You can create a single select field with the relevant options. Unfortunately there is no way to color-code them at this moment in time.
You can then display the status of the project in a Confluence page using the Display Metadata macro with the Render Mode "Value".
Workaround 2
Alternatively, if you want the visual of the status macro, but can work without predefined values, you can add a status macro to a page with metadata and put it in the standard "Excerpt" macro.
If you then use the Metadata Overview macro to create an overview with this page, you can use the configuration option "Common metadata to display" > "Excerpt" to display the status macro within the overview.
