What do we track in User Profiles for Confluence Cloud?
User Profiles for Confluence tracks user behavior data to help us improve user experience by making the best product decisions based on some insights. The Confluence administrator can opt out of this option on User Profile Configuration > Other Configuration
Tracking includes:
Ratio of pages with contact or list macros to all pages
Configuration of the contact person macros
Usage of the contact options provided in the contact person macros
Frequency of occurrence of specific macro states (e.g., login required)
Information that helps us to analyze application errors
Additionally, the app tracks Monthly Active Users, separate from administrator-enabled tracking configuration. This tracking is strictly for overall app usage statistics only.
