An essential use case of the SharePoint Connector is to embed SharePoint lists (especially document libraries) and single documents in Confluence pages. This is just as well possible for lists and documents stored in OneDrive for Business.

Be aware that OneDrive for Business is the personal space of a user and is thought to store personal files. The files and folders you store in OneDrive are private by default. In order to make them accessible for other users permissions have to be given to them explicitely. For how to do this see Share OneDrive files and folders.

Instructions

Since OneDrive for Business is technically the same as SharePoint Online there is no real difference in the course of embedding lists and documents stored in OneDrive for Business.

Especially for the standard OneDrive document library it could be a bit of a challenge to find it in the macro configuration (since by default it is named “Documents”). Therefore it could be helpful to first select the site for OneDrive:

  1. Check the site name in OneDrive:

  2. Select the OneDrive Site in the macro edit mode:

  3. Now go on further as usual:
