Problem

The org organization chart only shows the user themselves, not their superior, suborinatesemployees, or peers.

Go through the following questions:

Is the "Manager" field set in the Administration as depicted in the screenshot here? https://support.communardo.de/display/upp/Administrator+Guide+Release+1.11#AdministratorGuideRelease1.11-OrganizationCharts I in Organization Charts? We recommend choosing the field "Manager" for clarity instead of other user fields.
Afterwards, please check Check in the configuration of the Manager field (via Confluence Administration - User Profile ElementsConfiguration), if in the section Field Type Configuration the field type is set to "Userfield" and the checkbox for "The field value is a DN reference to the user" is checked. Are both these settings present?
Is the Manager field also synchronized with the Active Directory? Please add a screenshot with the current settings of the Manager field.
Please check that the Manager field for all the users is filled with other valid users (or for testing purposes, make sure that the users you want to display are part of a sensible hierarchy based on the values in the Manager field).
Please check, depending on the macro you are using, either the values for "Levels of Parents" and "Levels of Children" or "Maximal Level of Children" and tell us the values. You have to set the values at least to "1" to see any parents/children.
