Error when adding Jira webpart to SharePoint

Problem

Upon initial setup of the tool we got an error when adding the Jira webpart to Sharepoint:

Unexpected error on getting available Jira instances: Error: Token request previously failed

Solution

Please check your configuration and ensure that API Access Approval has been granted. Our documentation describes how to grant access.

To activate SharePoint Connector for Jira Cloud successfully you will need to execute all steps described in our SharePoint integration Administrator's Guide in order.
