Query Page Status (Comala Workflows) alongside Metadata

Question

Is it possible to Create a listing of pages (e.g. via Macro "Metadata Overview") which also includes an extra column that shows the "Page Status" of Comala Workflows?

Solution

Currently, the Page Status is not available as a distinct metadata field, but there's an easy workaround:

  1. Add an Excerpt macro to the Confluence pages in question.
  2. Inside the Excerpt macro, put the Page Status macro from Comala.

  3. Activate the Excerpt in the Metadata Overview configuration:

  4. If you're using the Metadata Fields filter, you'll additionally need to add the Excerpt there:

To automate this a little, you can add the Excerpt and Page Status combination to a Confluence page template.
