Problem

You might see the following exception:

Exception: Unprocessed Continuation Reference(s);

Solution

This problem is only appearing under the following circumstances:

  1. an LDAP server (OpenLDAP, Active Directory, ...) is used

  2. the server uses referrals

If you get this error, User Profiles for JIRA does not yet support user directories with referrals. The issue is tracked in https://communardo.atlassian.net/browse/UPJ-52 and has been fixed in version 1.0.2.
