Profile List does not show Department IT
Problem
When entering the Criteria "Department:IT" (without apostrophes) in the Profile List macro, there are no results/the wrong amount of user profiles shown.
Solution
Two issues come into play here:
First: Changes have been made in the latest Confluence versions which prevent standard fields from being searched. Until we fix this, as a workaround you can use the German title "Abteilung" to search the profile element Department. (This works for other standard elements as well. You can find the respective German titles in our User Guide.) → fixed with UPC-905 - Getting issue details... STATUS
Second: In English "it" is a stopword for Lucene search. This means this word will not be indexed and can therefore not be found with the search.
As a way around this, you can change your indexing language to a language where "it" is not a stopword, e.g. German:
- Change the language settings via General Configuration > Formatting and International Settings > Indexing Language to e.g. German.
- Perform a re-index. (Attention: Re-indexing can take a while. Be sure to perform this step when Confluence is less-frequented).
After the re-index, you will be able to search for the IT department with the Criteria "Abteilung:IT" (be sure to leave out the apostrophes).
