Can I extend my evaluation?

Question

I am currently evaluating an app and would like to keep testing. Is it possible to extend the trial?

Solution

There are different options, depending on your hosting.

CLOUD

Please contact our product support, if you want to extend a Cloud trial. Our support team will inform you about next steps.


DATA CENTER / SERVER

If you are using a Server or Data Center version, you can extend your Marketplace app evaluations up to five times, for a total of six months. You can do this by generating a new evaluation license key on the app's Atlassian Marketplace page and copying that license key into the manage app screen in the host product's Administration section.

Alternatively, if you remove your expiring evaluation license from the app inside the host product, the "Free Trial" button will be re-enabled and you can generate a new evaluation license from there.

It is not possible to extend an evaluation beyond 6 months in total.
