Microsoft Excel document view automatically downloads document on page load

Problem

When we add the macro 'SharePoint Online Document' and use the 'Link' display option - clicking on the link it doesn't take to the Sharepoint Document itself and just download it instead.

Solution

This is expected behavior specifically for excel documents.

Alternatively you can select the option: 'Full view', which will take you to the SharePoint webpage.
