Error rendering SharePoint List macro

Error rendering SharePoint List macro

Problem

On a Confluence page with the SharePoint List macro in display mode, you get the following error message:

In edit mode, the metadata loads endlessly.

Solution

This problem could be caused by a corrupted SharePoint site index and hence a missing parameter in the search result.

In this case, reindexing SharePoint Online site should solve the problem.

  1. Navigate to the site collection in SharePoint Online where you have the issues to embed content from and go to the > Site contents

  2. Go to > Site settings

  3. Click on > Search and offline availability

  4. Click on > Reindex site

The reindexing can take up to several hours.
